Arson K9 Brownie
Compton, specifically in determining the causes of
suspicious fires and combating intentional arson
incidents. Arson accounted for 53% of structure fires
in the dog’s service area over the past three years.
We are thrilled to introduce this exceptional program to our community. However, the program’s long-term sustainability relies on continuous grant funding and generous donations. While the acquisition of the arson dog has been covered, there are ongoing expenses for dog food, routine veterinary care, training aids, training props, and the purchase and outfitting of a safe vehicle for our four-legged firefighter.
If you wish to contribute any amount to the success of this program in our community, please donate. The raised funds will help purchase safety equipment to outfit Arson K9 vehicle. Examples of equipment in need are: K9 interior temperature monitor, K9 kennel insert, and emergency lights and siren.
